Overcoming the Adversity in Your Life

There have been 107 billion people who have lived on this planet, and every single one of them has faced adversity — that is a fact of our lives. It doesn’t matter if you are successful. If you are wealthy. If you are naturally happy and upbeat. Everyone gets knocked down by life at times.  I want to tell you a little about mine in this 10-minute podcast, because in a relatively short time I’d say life got really difficult for me:

In this podcast, Mike Spivey tells the story of the greatest adversity he has encountered in his life, how he overcame it, and how anyone can overcome the adversity in their life in that same way.

More importantly, I learned to fight through that adversity and use it to, I believe, become, work on, and evolve into being a better version of myself. There is no guarantee that the challenges we face will stop — and a part of us holds onto them. We accrue them in our memories and threaten our abilities to define who we are. I am a firm believer in human resilience, and even more so in our ability to define who it is we want to be. I hope this podcast can be a source of help, even if the tiniest of sparks knowing that others have to fight through their own personal challenges, in helping you get through yours.
